Executive Summary (General Business): The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Litter Control & Prevention Grant provides resources needed for neighborhood cleanups, Adopt A Street Volunteers, new program initiatives, and materials for educational programs and outreach focusing on litter prevention.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the grant agreement and authorize the City Manager to execute the grant agreement, and any future amendments to the same, on behalf of the City.

Background: The FDOT Litter Control & Prevention Grant is a non-competitive grant that affords Florida Affiliates of Keep America Beautiful the opportunity to amplify their litter prevention programs and outreach throughout their communities. The City of Port St. Lucie, through its Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful programming, is such a Florida Affiliate.
