Executive Summary (General Business): #Doyougivearuck? Is hosting a Freedom Festival and Memorial Ruck on Saturday September 12 at Indian River State College, Pruitt Campus, from 10am to 3pm.
Presentation Information: Eileen Carey, Executive Director with #Doyougivearuck? will be in attendance.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council find that promotion of #Doyougivearuck? serves a valid public and/or municipal purpose and approve the applicant’s sponsorship request.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the sponsorship request.
2. Move that the Council provide staff direction.
Background: #Doyougivearusk? has requested that the City share their event information on the City’s social media page(s).
