2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Felix Associates of Florida, Inc. ("Contractor").
3. Purpose: To amend Contract #20220040 to add a shut-off valve to the newly installed 36-inch force main where a valve did not exist.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Modified.
5. Duration: The revised Contract end date will be August 1, 2023, an addition of 25 days.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The addition of a shut-off valve provides flexibility when deciding on the direction of flows throughout the City's wastewater collection system, increasing City access and capacity to the system.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An additional $153,719.57 for a new Contract amount of $5,612,657.87.

Background: Felix Associates of Florida, Inc. was awarded Contract #20220040 for the installation of 12,200 Linear Foot ("LF") of 24-inch Reuse Water Main as part of the City's efforts to provide reclaimed water to certain newly developed areas of the City.
