Planning and Zoning Board Alternate Candidate Discussion

Executive Summary: At the September PNZ Board meeting interviews were held for an at-large member and an alternate. Four candidates were interviewed and ranked. This agenda item is to discuss how the PNZ Board would like to proceed with the 2 alternate vacancies.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board provide direction to staff regarding filling the alternate position.
Background: At the September meeting, 4 candidates were interviewed, with the highest ranked member being Carol Taylor-Moore and Greg Pettibon. The following morning, staff received an email from Mr. Pettibon with his resignation. The board could consider recommending to the City County that the other two members (already interviewed and ranked), Jeffrey Luchtman and Jose Vega as the two alternates. Or we can solicit candidates for 30 days.
