Executive Summary (General Business): Resolution supports the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) and the other 9 regional planning councils due to their benefit to local governments, regional and state agencies.  The TCRPC has been a partner with the City in several endeavors over the years; most recently with development of the Southern Grove Master Plan.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the resolution opposing the elimination of the State’s regional planning councils.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and adopt the resolution opposing elimination of the State’s regional planning councils.

2.                     Move that the Council not adopt the resolution and provide staff direction.
