Executive Summary (General Business): The KAB Coca Cola Grant will provide funding for litter tools such as safety vests and litter grabbers for children to be used at cleanup events.

Presentation Information: N/A

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council Approve the Grant Award and authorize the City Manager to execute the grant agreement, and any future amendments to the same, on behalf of the City.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the grant award.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff with direction.

Background: The City, through Keep Port St. Luce Beautiful, hosts one large and several small cleanups throughout the year where volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate. The purpose of this grant is to provide litter cleanup tools specifically designed for children, which will encourage awareness and prevention of litter while showing them their value as volunteers.
