1. Prepared by: Florida Department of Environmental Protection ("FDEP")
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie("City") and FDEP
3. Purpose: To obtain grant funds for the Water Control Structure Upgrades in Watersheds A and B of the City.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New
5. Duration: The City shall be eligible for reimbursement for work performed on or after the date of execution through the expiration date of the agreement of September 30, 2025.
6. Benefits to the City: Enhanced water quality and Public Safety[JD1]
7. Cost to City (Annual and Potential): The Agreement requires at least a 50% match on the part of the City. The City's match would be $2,000,000.00 of cash or third-party in-kind services towards the project funded under the agreement.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Resolution authorizing the City Manager or his designee to enter into and execute Grant Agreement 22SRP12 and return it to the Public Works Department for final processing with FDEP.

2. Move that the Council not approve the Resolution and provide staff direction.
