Executive Summary (General Business): The request is for the rezoning of the 1.01-acre property from Single-Family Residential (RS-2) to General Commercial (CG). The applicant is requesting this change so that the zoning designation will be compatible with the Future Land Use classification of General Commercial (CG).

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the ordinance approving the CG rezoning as recommend by the Planning and Zoning Board.

1. Move that the Council not approve the ordinance and provide staff direction.

Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the proposed CG rezoning at the September 5, 2023, Planning and Zoning Board.
