Executive Summary (General Business): St. Lucie West Services District (SLWSD) has agreed to convey two (2) District signs located within the City Right of Way on NW Prima Vista Boulevard a/k/a St. Lucie West Boulevard. The Public Works Department already maintains the landscaping at the two locations.
Presentation Information: N/A
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the conveyance of two signs located on NW Prima Vista Boulevard.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and complete motion in the affirmative.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.
Background: SLWSD has put these signs on their surplus list and is not recognizing them as a gateway into the CDD. The City has been maintaining the area where these signs are located and are in good condition.
Issues/Analysis: N/A
Financial Information: The City will incur minimal additional costs, since we already maintain the landscaping, for eventual pressure washing and in the event they are damaged.
