1. Prepared by: Florida's Division of Emergency Management
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie Office of Emergency Management
3. Purpose: Enabling the City of Port St Lucie to maximize the full and effective use of resources of all participating governments in the event of an emergency or a disaster by entering into this agreement
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Renewal
5. Duration: This agreement renews annually, unless within sixty (60) calendar days before that date the City of Port St Lucie notifies the Division, in writing, of its intent to withdraw from the Agreement.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Allows the City the ability to request or render mutual aid to requesting parties during a disaster at a fixed cost as stipulated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency or Florida's Division of Emergency Management
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): No cost unless this agreement is activated during an emergency
