Executive Summary (General Business): The purpose of this request is to allow a bar and lounge to occupy approximately 3,600 square feet of one building in the shopping center. Section 158.124(c)(6) of the General Commercial Zoning Code lists bars, lounges, and nightclubs as special exception uses that may be permitted only following the review and specific approval thereof by City Council.
Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council review the Special Exception Use request and vote to approve, approve with conditions, or deny the SEU.
Background: On March 1, 2022, the Planning & Zoning Board unanimously voted to forward a recommendation of approval.

Location of Project: Located on the east side of SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard, between SW Aurelia Avenue, to the north, and SW Yale Street, to the South.
