Background: This intersection is currently a two-way stop controlled for East Bound and West Bound traffic on Lakehurst Drive only. High traffic volumes and historical crashes justify the installation of a traffic signal at this location based on meeting warrants contained in the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for Streets and Highways.

An E-Bid was issued on November 4 ,2022 to 922 potential suppliers. There were 19 plan holders with 2 proposals submitted on December 14 ,2022.
