Executive Summary (General Business): Tentative collective bargaining agreement reached by the City and the IUPA, Local 6018, representing the Police Lieutenants for the period October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2021. This is a three-year agreement.

Background: IUPA Local 6018 represents 9 Police Lieutenants employed by the City. The current agreement expired on September 30, 2018. Bargaining began in March of 2018.
Issues/Analysis: Attached is a copy of the Agreement in legislative format along with a summary of changes made, listed by article.
Financial Information: This is a three year agreement beginning October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2021, with no reopeners. The cost of the economic package exceeds the authority granted by the City Council by 0.26% over three (3) years.
