5. Duration: Three-year with an option for a two-year renewal.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Provide mowing and landscape maintenance services at various locations for an attractive landscape appearance throughout the City.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): This amendment increases the annual contract amount to $169,147. The revised total contract amount for the three-year term is $3,309,523, which is a total increase of $507,442.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve Amendment #1 to Contract #20190035 Mowing and Landscape Maintenance Services for various locations with Coast to Coast Landscaping.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve Amendment #1 to Contract #20190035.
2. Move that the Council not approve Amendment #1 to Contract #20190035 and provide staff with direction.
Background: The original Contract was bid in January 2019 and City Council approved the contract on March 11, 2019. Since that time, the contractor, Coast to Coast has performed the required mowing and landscape maintenance contractual obligations; however, it was noted that the quantities provided in the bid tabulation seemed low in comparison to the actual work completed for the Western Service Area. Upon review by Staff, it was noted that the intended quantities were provided in the request for bidders document; however, the fillable Excel spreadsheet attached to the document included the incorrect quantities.
Issues/Analysis: In review of the other bids received for this contract, the corrected bid quantities do not impact the standing/order of the bidders. The additional quantities were included in the development of the Fiscal Year 2019/2020 Budget; therefore, the funds to cover this amendment are available in the recently approved budget.
Financial Information: Funds are available in the Public Works/Stormwater/Greenbelt & Waterway Maintenance/Citywide Median Mowing (#104-4127-534116-00000) and Road and Bridge/Greenbelt & Waterway Maintenance/ Citywide Median Mowing (#401-4127-534116-00000).
