Executive Summary (General Business): The proposed text amendment would allow Planned Unit Developments to provide a professional parking analysis to determine the appropriate number of parking spaces based on the PUD’s size and uses.  The professional parking analysis will also determine the appropriate number of compact spaces, if any for the PUD.

 

Presentation Information: Staff may provide a presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the proposed ordinance as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and adopt the proposed ordinance.

2.                     Move that the Council not adopt the proposed ordinance and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Planning and Zoning Board at its August 6, 2019 meeting unanimously recommended approval of the proposed amendment.
