6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The expansion of Tom Mackie Boulevard will provide access to 130 +/- acres in the Southern Grove Jobs Corridor, which can accommodate 800,000 square feet of development and generate approximately 500 additional jobs on the lands adjacent to the roadway.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated to be $4,380,999.00

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Resolution authorizing the City Manager or his designee to enter into and execute a State-Funded Grant Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the agreement.
2. Move that the Council not approve the Resolution and provide staff direction.
